FAQ

Welcome to our FAQ page! We understand that starting physical therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if it’s your first time. That’s why we’ve put together answers to common questions to help you feel informed, confident, and at ease. Whether you're wondering what to expect at your first visit, how to prepare, or how treatment works, we're here to support you.

What should I bring on my first visit? What can I expect?

On your first visit, you should bring your insurance card and ID. Please come 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out registration forms. There will be an initial evaluation and consultation. Based on your individual condition, we offer massage therapy, exercise therapy, etc. It is advised that you wear loose, comfortable clothes especially if your condition is centered around your trunk.

2

How long is each session? How many sessions do I need?

The first visit takes roughly around an hour since the provider needs to conduct an initial evaluation and treatment. Follow-up visits should take roughly 50 minutes. The number of sessions varies based on your condition and goals. Your therapist will review your progress regularly and adjust your plan as needed.

3

Do I need a referral?

In many cases, you can start physical therapy without a referral. However, some insurance plans may require one. You are encouraged to contact us so we can check for you!

4

How can I schedule an appointment?

You can call us directly, email, or use our contact form online. We’re happy to help you find a time that works.

5

Will it be painful? What if I'm in pain during treatment?

Some discomfort is normal, especially early on, but your therapist will always prioritize your safety and comfort. Open communication is encouraged.
